The Trump regime is attacking boats from Venezuela, blowing them up in international waters. Why this focus on a South American nation? Venezuela has the world’s largest oil reserves. The US has a great tradition of going after countries with lots of oil and administrations that don’t bend over backwards for them. Donald Trump is a firm believer in fossil fuels. His administration has already reversed much of the good work that was done under Joe Biden, when it came to renewables and the transition away from climate damaging fossil fuels. Trump is the ultimate head in the sand guy, when it comes to global warming.
Trump’s Crooked Envoy To Ukraine
Meanwhile, Ukraine has to rely on a sleazy real estate guy, Steve Witkoff, in the Trump peace plan with its aggressor Putin’s Russia. Most of us have had our own dealings with real estate salesmen and know what that is like and where their instincts lie. Doing deals that favour their own interests and sucking up to the rich and powerful are par for the course. I’m sure Mr Zelenskyy feels the future of his country is in good hands with Witkoff LOL. It would be funny if it weren’t so tragic in light of all the many lives lost to warfare from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The Trump Regime’s Armed Troops In America
The Trump regime continues to fill the streets of big American cities, that didn’t vote for him, with National Guard troops inciting violence. Imagine how brown skinned Americans are feeling right now in these places. The white supremacist subtext here has ICE masked thugs taking out those they deem as unwanted by extremist crackpots like Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller and border czar Tom Homan. Armed troops are the presumption of guilt in force on the streets. This does not make America a safer place but a more dangerous place. This is what fascist regimes have always done militarized their streets and cities to the detriment of the people. Control is about perception to a large degree. Seeing men with guns everywhere does not suggest freedom, my friend.

Trump’s America Is Democracy’s Loss
America is a lost cause right now, but many citizens are unaware of it. Troops on the ground is a deterrent to opposition. The Trump tariffs have created a siege like mentality for some, with the rest of the world on the outer, portrayed as the enemy. The United States has been betrayed by its greedy and powerful. A million jobs have been lost so far in the first year under the Trump regime. Stagflation is on the horizon, according to economists. Billionaires are getting tax cuts whilst the poor are losing their welfare benefits for food and health. This is social Darwinism where the rich and powerful destroy and exploit the weak for profit. People around the globe are rightly disgusted by the Trump regime and its corporate backers.
“In short, the suspension of government transpired as a result of a budgetary disagreement between Republicans and Democrats over draconian healthcare cuts favoured by President Donald Trump. This is the same Trump, of course, who fancied the US wealthy enough to propose a defence budget for fiscal year 2026 of more than $1 trillion.
Following the shutdown, the Trump administration decided that poor and hungry Americans should pay the price, and on November 1, the nation’s crucial Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) came to a halt for the first time since the programme’s creation in 1964.”
You Cannot Trust AI To Tell You The Truth
AI, Artificial Intelligence, will not tell you the undeniable truth. An example of this is Google’s AI
“There is no evidence that the U.S. government is currently implementing a policy to cut all welfare for the poor.”
Whilst there is some truth in this statement, leading with it is a political statement in itself. Yes, not all welfare to the poor is being cut, but I didn’t ask about ‘all welfare’ in the first place. AI is largely operated by the Big Tech oligarchs, who all supported Donald Trump in the last election because they want the guardrails around AI removed. If you put your trust in AI bots you will be mislead and betrayed in the end.
Exploiting The Politics Of Grievance
“Politicians on the Right have no long term solutions for anything. Short termism infects everything they do and say. Their intentions are all about getting elected via the politics of grievance. Once in power they achieve little and go about milking the system for their own benefit. Donald Trump is a clear example of this, campaigning on high prices and the cost of living under Joe Biden. The US economy is now in far worse shape since he returned to the White House. More than a million jobs have been lost and stagflation is on the horizon for Americans. Trump now has the lowest approval rate in the polls in US history. If you ask many of his voters if they are happy with his handling of the economy their answer would be in the negative.”
