State of the Union 2020President
2 5 mins 2 weeks

Since his inauguration, Trump has wiped off $11 trillion from the market. Under Joe Biden the economy was growing and improving the whole time. All those liars on Fox News and in the right wing media echo chamber have brought this lunatic to bear upon America and the world. These people need to be held responsible for the misinformation and blatant lies broadcast to the listening population. That $11 trillion crash will strip away the value of retirement nest eggs and shareholder portfolios. This insane tariff policy will drive the world into recession, as it did in the 1930’s Great Depression.

“Of course the US will not be the only nation to be savaged by this Trump trade war. All those countries that embark on reciprocal tariffs will see prices rise on the goods and services being sold in their markets. We all will be paying much higher prices and thus tariff taxes to our governments. The stupid people have got hold of the levers of power in America and we will all suffer as a result. “

Donald Trump Destroys The US Economy

Putting a great big consumption tax on everything means that Americans will be paying thousands of dollars extra on what they buy. This fool in the White House is the biggest taxing president in American history. Retaliatory tariffs will impact ordinary folk all around the globe. Personally, I am really sick of having to hear about this dickhead constantly. For 10 years now America has been in the grip of this loud mouthed blowhard called Donald Trump. He has exposed the inadequacy of the US democratic system and has gamed it to his advantage.

Greedy American F*******

The simple truth is that right wing Americans are selfish f******. They have served up this baloney about how deserving they are and despite obscene wealth shouldn’t have to pay taxes. It is all about more and more for the already well off. The Trumpified GOP victim shames the poor and disadvantaged. Trump 2.0 is shrinking government services and seeking to privatise what little is left of the government. Corporatised and privatised sectors don’t look after anyone but their shareholders. They have shallow conceptions of what it means to fulfill their remit. Only governments have the depth to look after the people over profits. Running a country is not just a business. Just because you might be OK doesn’t ensure that everyone else is OK. What we need is better government not less government.

Toxic Trump Poisons The Well

Trump has wiped off $11 trillion from the market. What this tells us is that the chaos and uncertainty created by the Trump regime is stripping trust from the market. A global recession will damage many hundreds of millions of lives. The poor will cop it worse than the fat cats around Trump. Ordinary workers will lose their jobs and their families will suffer. For what? For some cockamamie theory that high tariffs will return manufacturing to America. That would take decades of sustained protectionism and fly in the face of the last 80 years of economic practice. I predict that the rest of the world will form economic blocks without the US. American hegemony is over, as we know it.

“Not content with shattering the post-1945 international order, which delivered prosperity and power to his country for eight long decades, Donald Trump is seemingly set on destroying the US economy. And he’s doing it because he, and the American right, have lost their ability to grasp reality.”
